So my final day on call - Tuesday starts a long stretch of travel for me and then as of the second week in May, I am home except for two trips for six months. So I am contemplating my "puppy" sabbatical by looking at pictures of Java as puppy at his first meeting of my chocolate lab, mollie. Found this shot on my hard drive - made my heart melt. They became such good friend and she was so sweet with Java. Mollie died from cancer January 2007, which was one of the toughest days for me.

So hopefully this new beginning will be as sweet as the last..

This week, I believe that I had made a final decision on a name - Moki (short for Mocha). I wish there was this great story - but not. I was reading a book where one of the characters was named Suki and it came to me while driving, Moki would be a perfect name for the next puppy.

So... here is to new life..
