After 10 straight days of being on call, I had new windows installed and
slept for the most part of the day - simply exhuasted.

The new windows meant that my window unit air conditioner no longer fiitted.
Of course, it is one of the hottest summer days.

An old smaller AC unit was installed in the master bedroom. I turned it on
so the room would hopefully cool down.

Fell asleep to wake to a barking dog at the top of the steps. He led me to
master bedroom, where he promptly jumped on the bed.
