April 14 2026 - Training update - The main thing that we are working on is Goda impulse control - in that he wants to run and play with other dogs. At training class, he is in training mode - so with positive rewards he will focus on the looking at me. Now on walks, he get a "good boy" and treat when he looks at another dog then returning his attention to me. We are no longer practicing stay on the Barrington Town Beach block but sit, stay and I am walking 20 feet away before releasing him. This is twofer in that I am practicing focus lock on the A7V with pre-capture. Holding off on a decision when to test him for pet therapy - through pet partners - plan is to continue weekly training through September.
