Flag Fen is a bronze age archaeological excavation area. Channel 4's "Time Team" visited this site in 1999. Flag Fen itself consists of a 3,000 year old line of posts thar runs for about a kilometre across a low-lying wet fen. Flag Fen gets it name from the flag iris.
