Plum Island, Newburyport & Salisbury Beach areas 2009-14

Raptor shoot was at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Other more recent images from the reservoir in Newburyport and the general area plus Plum Islanf

Crossbill images are from Salisbury beach and were taken in late Nov. 2012. Most of the images from plum island are heavily cropped and by and large the birds are too far away for the camera lenses I have. So they are just record shots of what we saw.

Some images from 2012 are from Sandy point. We visited Plum Island the summer of 2011 in mid June and then again in late August (avoiding July due to the green head fly situation). Most of the images from 2011 were taken at Sandy Point and are primarily terns and plovers. . Images from 2009 and 2010 are at the end and are more varied. Older folder of flowers from 2005 is at the end - this gallery has to be opened separately.
