I was messing around with long exposures at that time. Lighting: natural light through a window. The shutter was at f/32.0 so that I could get longer exposure times. The background was a white painted door. It required a lot of post-processing (for me at least) to get rid of dust specs, blemishes on the rose, to make the background perfectly white, etc.
