Nico--you are very gracious in providing us with info on how you achieved many of your unique images! I have just started understanding PS layers after having been somewhat intimidated by the complicated instructions offered by most books and mags. I believe I have had a breakthrough recently and find I understand much more and am applying some of the great tools PS offers to my images. (Unfortunately, my comprehension skills are failing with age so I have to work harder to create results that satisfy me.) BTW, there is a great new book out by Simon Joinson called "Get The Most From Photoshop." Have you seen it? It is very well-written and covers so much of what PS offers.
