Here's one of the many puzzles Dad made. It's really a mess when it's not together and you don't have the instructions to reassemble the thing.

My dad made one of those, too, many, many years ago. His was hard maple, and every arris had about a 1/16" bevel. I was always amazed at the workmanship that went into that puzzle--the cuts were so precise and the fit was perfect. I lost track of it after I left home (in the early 60s), and wish I knew where it is today. Thanx for bringing back some fond memories.
