Here, we held hands and one guy on each end was connected to a Taser electrode. This is sort of like the physics demo with the Van De Graff generator where one guy touches the generator and the next student holds his hand, etc. so everyone has a static charge that holds their hair up. Here the "shock" lasts only as long as it takes for someone to let go (probably either immediately or .1-.5 seconds from start) as they end up breaking the circuit.
