Discovery's Final Flight

Space Shuttle Discovery was flown to the Udvar-Hazy museum near Dulles International Airport on April 17, 2012 (Tax Day) for retirement. She'll replace Enterprise which will be flown to New York to be placed on permanent display on the USS Intrepid. She was flown in to Dulles on the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) with a T-38 escort/chase plane.
