3D Images, NSFW *

Contains depictions of nudity, exit if you can't view this legally or are offended...

UPDATE (7/28/10): This gallery has now been marked as non-family safe by Pbase and is no longer listed in the updated or popular gallery listings (It made it to about #383 before removal though).

Here's where I'll be starting a new collection of "3D" images that are Not Safe for Work (NSFW) and contain depictions of nudity. There will be a mixture of Stereographs (i.e. images you view by crossing your eyes, "Magic Eye" style, or with some sort of lens viewer that forces your eyes to focus to infinity) and anaglyphs (ones you use "3D" glasses with).

The mixture is for this reason: not everyone seems to be able to view stereographs unaided. That being the case, if you've got to use something, lots of people have 3D glasses from movies, TV promos, toys, etc. laying about.

Aside from normal critique, if I could get feedback on if people prefer the stereographs or the red/blue anaglyphs (for the reasons given above), I'd appreciate that as well. If there are a predominant number of people who prefer one or the other, that will shape how this gallery eventually develops... Thanks.

The anaglyphs here are for RED/BLUE, not the green/red you find with some of the DVD sets. I made a decision, and went with traditional red/blue. You can find perfectly useable ones that are more durable for a couple dollars on eBay if you want ones that last.

I'm going to probably have to place my obnoxious copywrite logo in watermark closer to the models here. This is because if I don't, someone will steal them and put them on a 3D porn blog.

Bloggers, or other image collectors, you do not have permission to copy, repost, or link to these images.

For me to see these, I can do it via the old eye-crossing method. I will get two images (you'd see a pair of both images), then I'll "relax" my eyes until there's a crossover and you see three images, one left, one doubled, one right. Then, if your eyes are in the same horizontal plane, you can slowly start to focus the middle image (the crossed one) and as it comes into focus, it will suddenly gain depth. For me, they don't pop out of the screen, but the image gains a depth so that the near is closer to the screen surface and far is "deeper" into the screen. I'm doing these in "portrait" width because some people can't cross their eyes enough for a wide landscape image. You could also try with a smaller version (see below for sizes) or even the thumbnail (it works).

I've gotten about 600 hits this week alone and yet no comments one comment on if one or the other is better. Can anyone even see these? It's hard to know how to shape the gallery if there's no feedback at all... I'm also pleasantly surprised that the PG-13/Safe for work gallery has more hits than the nudes.
