Nice. The waves on the Great Lakes get every bit as big as on the open ocean. I've never thought about the tides as we don't have much in the way of sand beaches along the Lake Superior shoreline in Minnesota.
Great patterns. Looks like rather calm waves to leave multiple marks. Which makes me wonder if the Great lakes get waves like the ocean does? Waves from tidal swell traveling across the water. Or is it just from wind and boat wakes?
