Brown Creeper after flying into our window

Fort Loramie, Ohio

This Brown Creeper apparently crashed into our window and I found it in this condition. It looked like it had a broken wing and a serious neurological condition. However, after about 4 hours in a box in my warm workshop, it improved greatly. I carried it outside in my open hand and after a few minutes, it flew off to a nearby tree.

Amazing shot, Jack. So glad it recovered. I wonder if it will come back for a visit. ;)

It looks a little dazed, glad it survived.

Glad to hear it recovered. That's the kind of moment we treasure around our house, and our kids have picked up on that ethic to pass it on.
