These mature bull elk mirrored each other as they walked into a golden meadow in Yellowstone. They postured and bugled to try and deter their opponent from fighting. After all of the posturing neither bull backed down and they fought briefly. The bull that started out with the harem of cows nearby was defeated and run off by the other bull.
