Hi.. I looked again at the enlarged shot & this is truly a 'brown' ... the greens I have in my yard (very few & far between) are an almost ‘iridescent green’ - no brown at all o their bodies like this one ... thanks for looking JC

This is a Green Anole or American Anole, Anolis carolinensis
