I disagree about the lighter, but then I like darkness in photos.. I think I'm in a minority... Beautiful b&w tones here and the contrast is perfect

I agree - a tad lighter and there seems to be a bit of lens shade vignetting at the top -maybe purposeful. Nice pic of an interesting 'pirate' ship though!

And where are those pirates? Very nice B&W. I think if it would be a little brighter it will definetely look better, just my own opinion.
