Here's some basic information about the people you'll see here. Jean is a retired school media specialist. Chris is a semi-retiredschool psychologist and special ed. administrator. Joanne and Jim, whose father is Chris (go green!), are the eldest and graduates of MSU and Central Michigan. Lee and Katie, whose mother is Jean (go blue!), are U of M alums. All are respected professionals of whom we are very proud. We both say "what's mine is yours," and love all of them.

We both enjoy travel and will go almost anywhere, but warm sunny destinations as well as Chris's sister's home in Edmonton AB are our favorites. We've been to many places in our earlier lives but have others yet to explore together. Highlights have been two Mediterranean cruises that took us to some amazing places!

Chris enjoys hunting whenever he can and escapes to Hubbard Lake to his friend Dick's lake home and hunting properties, one very remote with a new lodge.
Jean loves creating, in the garden, the sewing room, the kitchen, and especially in business: Simply Beautiful Images, the art photo enterprise created with Barry and Linda Schoenholz, www.simplybeautifulimages.com. She likes to spend a portion of her time volunteering, as she has been fortunate enough to be able to help others.

We currently have seven wonderful grandchildren: Kathryn Elizabeth, born 1996; Courtney Marie, born 1999; Evan Dimitriy, born 2001; Charity Kathryn-Mae, born 2003; Noah Holger, born July 2005, and Carter James, born July, 2005 (in separate states!); and Micah Louis, born March, 2008! We know that they will always give us something to do!

We have a large extended family and many friends who keep us busy, too.
