The table should be taken with a small grain of salt because the "effective" physical size of the sensor for the 10D, 1Ds, and 1D bodies has been taken from reviews (I've never seen a Canon publication that lists the exact effective size of the sensor). Regardless, the approximations to physical size are pretty close and should not be a factor when it comes down to answering the question(s) above.

If anybody spots an error in any of the metrics, please let me know along with a reference to "exact" values published by Canon; I would really appreciate it.
