Historical Landmark, Cunningham Cabin

I think you will agree this old house has a very nice backyard view of the Teton Range. The picture of the log cabin was taken very early in the morning on the drive from Jackson to the north entrance of Grand Teton National Park.

This structure, complete with a sod roof, is the Cunningham Cabin; it was constructed circa 1950 to replicate the original 160 acre homestead ranch that was built circa 1885 by J. Pierce Cunningham and his wife Margaret. Design of the dogtrot style log cabin is typical of the most fashionable architecture of the day (well, fashionable for homesteaders anyway).
