This scenic view is about 3 miles south of Page, Arizona on the west side of the road. A short hike (about .9 miles round trip) on fairly flat (a few small hills) ground is required to view the gooseneck. Unlike most of the Colorado River the water in this section is emerald green in color; this is probably due to the close proximity to the dam.
