I have heard of that phenomenon, but did not see it in this case. It was certainly my best opportunity. I was enjoying the end of a perfect day with some fellow visitors at LKSP at Big Carlos Pass where this shot was taken. The two eldest in the group were celebrating a wedding anniversary. I had a great time socializing with them, really less focused on the sunset than I could have been, with no loss whatever.
