Burrowing Owl near Cape Coral Library

While this owl was looking directly into the sun, I think its attention
was focused on a bird in flight at my back. The pupils were much smaller than
I've observed the species to typically have which will change their size
and capability to see much as does the aperture of a photographer's lens.
