Black Skimmer with Quarry at San Carlos Bay: Bunche Beach Preserve
Fort Myers, Florida USA

There were a handful of skimmers that made numerous passes by me,
but this was the only occasion when a fish was caught. As what I considered
unusual behavior, one of the skimmers picked up a variety of debris
from the water's surface. It may have been a juvenile practicing as I'd liken
my practicing photographing the birds moving at an intimidating speed.
I wish that I had a little faster shutter speed going for me.
