Brown Pelican with Laughing Gull at Lovers Key State Park at New Pass

You may notice the unnatural colored spot on the back of the pelican at far right.
In my initial view of this series of shots, I thought it was a fault in the camera or software.
In actuality, it is a lure on fishing line wrapped in the feathers. This image has taught
me the lesson that a future opportunity like this should be shot at a higher ISO and
aperature setting to improve the focus of all the subjects in the scene. Closer inspection
of the prevalence of the lures can be seen in the next shot.
