Although my pocket guide to common Florida birds merely lists the Monk Parakeet from the Psittacidae family, this photograph clearly doesn't depict that species. My Sibley guide notes that there have been 65 species of parrots and their allies recorded in Florida. The closest match of the species painted by Sibley in his NAS guide is the Black-hooded Parakeet which is how I document the species seen here with the size a very good match as well. If a correction is brought to my attention, I will update the gallery.
