Training Day
Oh my. Sinta has bit his tongue before, but never like this. We were training at the high school and by the time we were done it looked like an episode of CSI. There was blood everywhere. He would shake his head and send it flying in all directions. Even the team from CSI would walk in and think “WTF??”
It started with his drug toy. He was playing a little rough and ends up biting his tongue, or through his tongue, I couldn’t really tell. I take him outside and he lays in the snow, playing with his toy. By the time he gets up, it looks like we have killed a deer on this spot. Sinta sits up and it looks like he has been shot in the mouth, but he is clearly not in pain. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all. I would have been off work for three weeks. He looked a lot worse than this but by the time I got my camera out, he had started cleaning himself up.
The bleeding stops and a little later, we do a building search. He bites the sleeve and the faucet gets turned back on. I thought it had stopped so I put him back in the car. Yeah….didn’t stop. My car looks like a scene from one of those cheesy haunted houses you go during Halloween.
All in a days work for Sinta. Glad it wasn’t me. I don’t handle pain so well.
