American White Pelican Trying to Swallow a Fish That's Too Big

This pelican was so excited with its catch, but was unable to swallow it. It kept swimming around, followed by other pelicans that wanted the fish too, at least for an hour. I don't know what happened or if it finally decided it had to give it up.
