The pagoda is located in the Hà Tây District about 35 km south of Hanoi along Highway 1A. The highway runs next to the train track. After passing Hoàng Mai continue on until you see a large brick tower on the right side of Hwy 1A and a blue sign that says Chùa Đậu. Turn right here and follow a rocky bike path until you come to ruins of a brick building on the right, here there is an intersection, turn left on the asphalt road and follow it until it turns into a concrete road. Do not continue on the concrete road, but turn left onto another dirt road. This will lead you to the Pagoda.
