Comet NEOWISE

With the hay cut and in the barn I took the free time to photograph the Comet NEOWISE near Mt Rainier. The comet is getting fainter by the day and it will not return for nearly 7000 years. It was now or never.
My plan A was to try for a photo over the Plummer Peak Tarn but after hiking up at sunset I found that snow was still covering the tarn. Plan B was to catch it at Reflection Lakes along with dozens of other photographers. I made it back down off Tatoosh Ridge before the comet became visible and was able to get a photo. The photo is not likely a wall hanger but as a once in 100 lifetimes opportunity it will have to do.
