Arnie, Yes, the idea is that he pedal position can be changed based the terrain. I have been riding with them in the 127mm position but would likely now change to the 109mm position if I have a long (maybe 30 or 40 miles long) section on flat/level road.

Do you change pedal position to match terrain? Disc brakes are the way to go but I'll bet it takes some practice to brake a unicycle!
