I've had this shot rattling around in my head for a few years. I went up last evening and found a vantage point to catch Mt Rainier, the switch back road up to Chinook Pass and Tipsoo Lakes in a single view. I found a place on a ridge top about 1/2 mile from the road. This shot was taken with a 14mm lens and includes 48 shots taken over a period of twelve minutes. Clouds rolled in at the end of my stay and pretty much limited any shots after 9:00pm. This final image was processed in Startrails and Photoshop Elements software.
