10 Cords on one sharpening

The saw is a 5ft Simonds 520. I sharpened it with settings of 0.012" on the rakers and a set of 0.010". After the 10+ cords the rakers measure about 0.007" because of wear of the cutter tips. The set does not really change with wear but as the cutters get rounded off they will sometimes not cut at the very edge of the kerf and kerf may get narrower and narrower as the saw advances in the cut. The saw is still serviceable but does show more whiskers on the cuttings and on some logs will start to drag a little more then ideal.
