Port Susan Sunrise

Looking south from my beach on Camano Island, this is Juniper Beach on Port Susan. I daily take my morning coffee here as I prepare for another day. Sunrises like this one are rare and I had a really good feeling as I brewed my favorite K-cup that we were in for a good one! With coffee in hand I grabbed my camera and gear and stepped out onto the beach and shot away. This shot is actually at the tail end of the sunrise. The shots looking to the east over the Cascade mountains are even better!
