This is the Index-Galena Road, in Snohomish County, Washington.
This road washed out on November 6, 2006 and still isn't repaired. That date is significant as it was the most recent record flood we've had in this valley.
Thankfully, the county is diligently working through the massive permitting process to complete this last stretch of road, about 1/2 mile in length to fully re-open the North Fork valley. Sadly, it probably won't be done until sometime in 2016.
Nevertheless, this little waterfall is always intriguing and always changing. See if you can find the double yellow lines and mentally connect the sections of road.
