Boat Bluff

The colourful and immaculately kept Boat Bluff Lighthouse lies on the southern end of Sarah Island, in the Tolmie Channel, along British Columbia's Inside Passage waterway. It is tradition for the two lighthouse keepers to wave to the cruise ships as they pass by - unfortunately they didn't come out this time! The only way in to this remote station is by helicopter or boat. And for immediate neighbours, the keepers have only the bears, wolves and cougars.
