Yep...we do hike the same trials...
i was born and raised in this area, although most of my North Country train experience is in the UP..

Hey Jim,
Beautiful pictures of the North Country Trail. I've recently discovered this trail myself. Which part of the Manistee are you near? I access the trail near Kingsley / Buckley, MI. I was curious if this was anywhere near there. Although I did notice a "no bikes" sign in your pictures. Bummer. I love biking on the section I go to.

I am jealous. I used to go hiking with 2 of my pals on the Appalachian Trail (north Georgia area) but due to college and work I am unable to break away easily for the great outdoors.
