In Box

Just a "mish mash" of various and sundry images, mostly shot here in Arizona. Some are simply here to explain something. Others are before and after comparisons for someone. Others are experiments and finally, some are personal favorites of mine. Now that I have opened up the album to others, I will try to label the shots better.Shot w/Oly E10, Oly E100RS and lately the Minolta A1, A2 and lately the superb KM 7d. Finally, the latest addition to an ever increasing stable (my wife's wording!), the Nikon D80 as of 2008. As of 2009 we have added both the Canon 40D and the wonderful Nikon D300 to the mix.

Jim enjoyed your gallery very much . I too found my way here through dpreview.com. We live in Thailand part of the year where some of the sunsets are breath taking as yours are in Arizona..Soon my wife and I will be back in the Pacific North West and I will try to shoot the sunsets in early spring and then back to Thailand. Your large range of photographs covering a lot of interesting topics is very well done. Keep up the good work......Jon in Thailand

Beautiful gallery, Jim. I love all the desert scenes, especially the sunset shots with the saguaro cacti. Makes me miss the West. Used to have to go down to Phoenix four or five times a years from Denver when I worked for Honeywell. Got to go out to the bush with my friend on a regular basis. He's a real desert rat, that one. Lives out near the Superstition Mountains. Anyways, again, a beautiful gallery. Keep on shooting!

I forgot to ask you how you engineered the bracket for the A-1 on the back of the Olympus TCON 300 ? Do you by chance have any dimensions ? I am thinking about how to ensure the optical axis of the A-1 can be lined up.
