| Pretty self-explanatory, especially with the legend. One thing that I never understood before seeing it is that the Rift Valley is so wide that it appears to be not so much a valley that slopes from both sides as a cliff. On the east side there's a low plain, then there's a wall about 1,500 feet high, and on top of that wall (to the west) are the highlands around the Ngorongoro Crater. |
