In June of 2008, we drove up the coast of Croatia from Dubrovnik through Trogir, Zadar, Dugi Otok and Rab, turned inland to Paklenice and the waterfalls of Plitvicka, cut through a corner of Bosnia to the Slavonic heartland, then left from Zagreb.
