In the early hours of this morning the clouds cleared and left a clear sky with a very bright moon just hanging about, begging to have it's picture taken. I have for a few weeks been attempting to match the 500mm lens from an old film SLR camera for use with my Fuji S7000, so I got all the gear out 500mm lens on tripod, S7000 on the mono-pod wedged tight against the giant lens. Try as I might I could not get the whole of the moon in the view finder. After about ten minutes the clouds started to cover the moon again so I looked round for another Pad image for today and this is what I came up with. This is just a crop you can see the full image
