X MARKS THE SPOT

What us locals have used as a playing field, a place to walk the dog or fly a kite is now
going to be turned into a formal park. X marks the spot for one of the boundary posts.
I will keep a photo diary at http://www.pbase.com/jim_w/park just for the sake it.

Why does the council see an open space and always want to fill it up with something, what ever has happened to just leave it natural. In my opinion it's sad, we are loosing something special ... SPACE.
