My wife and I spent a week in Yellowstone with about 50 other photographers from all over the country that had become acquainted in the discussion forums on DPReview.com. It was really fun to go out shooting everyday, and then spend the evenings socializing and looking at every ones pictures from the day, and trying to learn a few things along the way. We met a lot of really nice people and can't wait for next years get together.
