This is a documentary of a new series of artwork by Mike Elsass. It begins on April 28, 2008 with a new batch of steel from the steel yard and a new studio space: The Excelsior. Join us on our journey to creation. I will be adding pictures as they happen. The destination is 30 large paintings, of course on rusted steel, to be kept together as a series for a show and corporate installation. Enjoy.
