An old southern gentleman picking up pecans. Dont even know his name. Very nice. Spoke to me about his church, Father (who was a professor at the college he was picking pecans at)small towns verses the larger. I would have never met such a fine man if I had not had my camera.

Very intriguing and well executed photo of this chap. The hat is great - and the shadow it creates over the position of his enormous glasses helps completely obliterate his eyes. This really creates a terrific effect for me. His face has lots of character and you've captured those contrasts well with this finish. I also like the fact that you're looking down on him just a smidge - creates an interesting perspective. Lovely shot, Jill!
