McNeil River State Game Sanctuary 2009

The McNeil river brown bear sanctuary is located in south-central Alaska, approximately 100 air miles west of Homer, and 180 miles south-west of Anchorage. Prior to visitors arriving in 2009, Fish and Game staff, professional carpenters and volunteers spent two weeks constructing a new building. This photo journal highlights that project.
