Jim, great gallery. While it's a pity some of the images are a bit too soft, many of the the subjects, colours and composition are fantastic. I particularly appreciate the beauty of Mountain Light and LaBohn Lake Sunset. Any chance you'll be able to redo those ones one day with a tripod? Good luck with suitable sunsets if you do! John

It sure does. As I understand, he is enjoying his retirement from WDFW. We owe him thanks for his early work on protecting/restoring Wenatchee River steelhead runs. Things have been looking up recently, and hopefully we'll be able to cast our flies over them again in the not too distant future.

Chris, thank you for the compliments and yes it is possible that we have met. Long ago I attended a fly club meeting or two in Wenatchee, and again sometime back, fished the Wenatchee R. Does the name Larry Brown sound familiar?

Sure have enjoyed looking at your galleries, Jim. I recognized you from one of the photos...realized I had met you somewhere after I saw your last name. I'm a fly fisher from Wenatchee...so must have been either at a fly club meeting or out on the stream somewhere. Anyway...you sure have captured the essence of the great outdoors here in Washington (in a marvelous way) with your galleries. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you. Yes, Washington state is a beautiful state, but I don't speak to loud becaue I don't want to many people to know, because they might move here, and it is getting a little crowded. I can't wait for the snow to melt so that I can hike into the moutains.
