Great Malvern Priory

Formerly a Benedictine Priory, this church was destined to go the way of most Priories and Abbeys at the time of the Dissolution of the Monasteries at the time of Henry VIII. The south transept and Lady Chapel were dismantled and lost but at that point the local population intervened to buy the building to use as their parish church.
