The first recoded quadruplets recorded in Wales were from this village. Unfortunately they all died from typhoid and are buried in this graveyard. On the middle gravestone the names of Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth and Isaac can be seen with their dates of birth, the 17th February 1856 and the dates of each of their deaths a few days later.
