Glasgow Cross

Glasgow, Scotland

The 125 foot high tower with the clock is the Tolbooth Steeple, a remnant of an old Tolbooth house that dates from 1625. The remainder of the building was demolished in 1921. The Tollbooth Steeple was where public hangings in Glasgow used to take place.
