Fiddlers Ferry from Runcorn

Runcorn, Cheshire

The water this side of the wall is the Manchester Ship Canal and beyond the wall is the River Mersey. In the distance is the Fiddlers Ferry power station which lies between Widnes and Warrington.

It seems sort of jarring to have the enormous power station spewing steam in the midst of the natural beauty of the river, but an excellent capture all the same. V.

Well layered foreground with very nice lighting. The power plant makes for a fascinating subject. "V"
